The other day someone sends me this message; What Type of Environmentalist Are You? Well, that is indeed interesting, as I am not really an environmentalist, but I am an entrepreneur however? Apparently the person got it confused because we always led our industry; the mobile car wash industry in specialty equipment and environmental controls, but as far as being an environmentalist; me, not quite.
I always considered that I have to breath the air like anyone else and we all drink the water right? So we are all environmentalists in that regard. We owe it to ourselves and families to keep it clean as possible to leave healthier, happier and longer lives. Does that make environmentalism our sole cause not necessarily so I ask you this same question then; What Type of Environmentalist Are You?
Do you like to breath smog, smoke or exhaust? How about chemical clouds or pesticides? Would you rather that the water from your tap had stuff floating in it like most countries? Or would you rather clean water to drink as well?
So what kind of environmentalists should we be? Well first we should recycle, think about our surroundings and clean up after ourselves, then we should look around the neighborhood, city and state. Next when that all looks good we should join in a common cause with other NGOs, UN and World Bank to help in cleaning up the world. But it all starts in the mirror so ask yourself; what kind of an environmentalist are you?
